Canvas

Var nylig i dobbel 60 års dag til min onkel og tante, og i den anledning laget jeg to canvas bilder som gave. Dette er det ene.

I was recently in double 60th anniversary of my uncle and aunt, and for that occasion I made two canvas Pictures as a gift. This is one of them.

Jeg har brukt gamle bilder (kopi) av min farmor og farfar (onkels foreldre). Farfar døde for 33 år siden, og farmor nå nylig. Min onkel hadde 3 brødre inkl. min far, og når er det dessverre bare min onkel som lever.

I have used old photos (copy) of my grandmother and grandfather (uncle's parents). Grandpa died 33 years ago, and my grandmother recently. My uncle had three brothers, including my father, and now it is unfortunately only my uncle who lives.

 Bokstrimlene er fra en gammel kokebok farmor hadde.

Box strips is from an old cookbook my grandmother had.

De små hekle dukene var farmor sine, likeså klokken.

The small crochet tablecloths was my grandmothers, likewise the clock.

Brukte pynt fra Melissa Frances, Prima og Tim Holtz. Og i tillegg noen knapper og blomster av ukjent merke.
Alt ble til slutt malt over med gesso. Sprayet litt Perfect Pearl mist (herliom gold), og til slutt Mod Podge over det hele (også på bildene).

Used ornaments from Melissa Frances, Prima and Tim Holtz. And besides some buttons and flowers of unknown model.

Everything was eventually painted over with gesso. Sprayed a little Perfect Pearl mist (herliom gold), and finally Mod Podge over it (also on the pictures).
